AEG partners Taste of London – The Festive Edition 2016
The Festive Edition of the capital’s greatest restaurant festival will take over East London’s Tobacco Dock for four days, from the 17th to 20th November, and AEG, as title partner, will he hosting cookery demonstrations and hands- on cooking sessions for visitors, using the brand’s steam and induction appliances.
‘AEG Take Taste Further’, a feature of the event, will provide free classes on a first come, first served basis and will be led by School of Wok chef Jeremy Pang and chef Steve Brown from The Cookery School at Daylesford.
On November 19th, the theme turns to baking, and four “SteamBake™ For Taste” sessions will be led by baking expert Kathy Slack from Gluts and Gluttony, who will teach students how to make patisserie using AEG’s built-in ovens with SteamBake™ technology.
“We are keen for visitors to experience just how our appliances can transform cooking results,” said Vanessa Holloway, Senior Consumer Marketing Manager at AEG. “Our guest chefs will guide visitors through the key steps to creating a great tasting meal: the sourcing of ingredients, how best to store and chill them, the variety of heat techniques and, finally, the all-important experience of how food is presented and enjoyed.”
In the all-new AEG Taste Theatre, visitors can watch UK chefs including Tom Kerridge, Angela Hartnett and Cyrus Todiwala cook live on stage, offering inspiration on how to cook the perfect dish at home. This year, the new format for the Theatre will see two guest chefs challenging each other to create exceptional dishes for the festive season and visitors voting for their favourite.
