bira teams up with Exclusively shows
Brooke House Exhibitions, organisers of the Exclusively Housewares & Exclusively Electrical shows, and the British Independent Retailers Association (bira) have announced a new joint initiative for 2018, in a drive to support independent retailers of housewares and cook shop products.
bira will have a stand at the show for the first time and a number of new joint marketing activities will be undertaken to promote the event to the association’s independent retail members, encouraging them to attend.
bira members will be offered complimentary overnight accommodation, show refreshments and an invitation to the Exclusively summer party, along with other new initiatives.
“The Exclusively shows offer retailers an excellent opportunity to view the latest innovation in homewares, table-top and SDA products ahead of the key Christmas buying period,” said Show Director Simon Boyd. “The retail sector remains highly challenging. We are sure that our co-operation with bira will offer members a competitive edge.
“A highlight of our activities is the Golden Ticket Initiative, designed to result in pounds in the pockets for all those placing orders at the show. More details will be unveiled in February via our website and on Social Media.”
