Enhanced user experience for Humax FVP-4000T
Humax has introduced a number of enhancements to its FVP-4000T Freeview Play HD personal video recorders through an IP update, available as of today, to provide a better user experience.
A redesign of the Humax Home Page interface offers a more intuitive and user-friendly layout, delivering a better browsing performance when selecting recordings. Several improvements have also been made to the Electronic Programming Guide, with seven instead of five channels being displayed on the page.
The full title of the programme being selected is now located clearly at the bottom of the screen to boost browsing speed and performance, and the opportunity to record an entire series without entering detailed information is also possible, making the process faster, simpler and more convenient for users.
Increased stability of the WiFi connection ensures that it is restored quickly and automatically should the broadband link become disconnected for any reason, resulting in minimum interruption of viewing.
Graham North, commercial director at Humax, said: “Following feedback from our customers, we have introduced significant improvements to the UI and EPG to enable a smoother, more intuitive user experience for owners of our extremely popular digital recorder. We’re certain that these new features and modifications will make the Humax FVP-4000T the most desirable PVRs on the market today.”
Current owners of the FVP-4000T will automatically receive the free of charge IP update.
