Gorenje appliances donated to children’s and community charities

45 Gorenje appliances used at Woodspeen Cookery School in Newbury, Berkshire for the last two years are to be donated to charity.

The appliances will be given to New Barn School, a Newbury-based facility for disadvantaged children; Young People and Children First, a small Berkshire-based charity that supports Foster Care leavers as they transition from their teenage years to become independent adults; The Uplands Education Trust, a Wiltshire charity providing high-quality education and learning opportunities for young people with special needs.

The three charities were selected by John Campbell, chef and founder of the cookery school. The ovens, hobs and hoods donated are part of the Gorenje+ collection.

“We’re so pleased that the appliances will be put to good use by three organisations with tremendously worthy causes,” commented Stuart Benson, sales director at Gorenje UK.
