Gorenje launches second series of #FoodSimplified videos
Kitchen appliance manufacturer Gorenje is following up its successful 2016 series of #FoodSimplified recipe videos with a new series for 2017.
The short videos, hosted on the company’s social media pages and YouTube channel, have received more than 600,000 views since launched in March 2016, and have been shortlisted for four industry awards in the last 12 months. The company initially launched the campaign to increase online engagement and has since reported a 58% growth in community size.
Built on the brand’s ‘Life Simplified’ ethos, the new series incorporates the addition of a #SimpleFact in each video which provides viewers with informative nuggets of information.
Stuart Benson, sales director at Gorenje UK, commented: “To kick-start the new campaign we published a mouth-watering blueberry pancake recipe to tie in to Shrove Tuesday, which received in excess of 6,000 views in just 24 hours. The set of ten new videos will be seeded out via our Facebook and Twitter channels over the coming months and include some delicious and fun new meals including a BBQ chicken tortilla pizza and a pesto and tomato squash-etti dish.
“We’re delighted they’ve been so well received by our social community as we aim to inspire people to get creative in the kitchen and make the most of their appliances. We also hope they act as a useful aid to our retailers, providing them with some unique and fun content to share on their social channels.”
