Hisense becomes official partner of 2018 FIFA World Cup
Chinese manufacturer Hisense has announced that it is to become an Official Sponsor of the 2018 FIFA World CupTM Russia.
The deal provides the company with extensive marketing opportunities and exposure as the Official Television of the 2018 FIFA World Cup and the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup, with the opportunity to showcase its TV products to billions of consumers worldwide.
Hisense is rapidly expanding on a global scale. It currently ranks third in worldwide TV shipments and has held the top TV market share in its domestic market of China for 13 consecutive years.
Commenting on the sponsorship, Howard Grindrod, deputy managing director of Hisense UK, said: “The FIFA World Cup is the most watched sporting event on the planet and we’re delighted to have this opportunity to be a part of both the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup and 2018 FIFA World Cup as an Official Sponsor.

This sponsorship is the latest in a series of high profile partnerships and events for Hisense, including UEFA’s Euro 2016, the Australian Open, NASCAR’s XFINITY series, Red Bull Racing Formula 1, Joe Gibbs Racing, and Germany’s FC Schalke 04.
