Hisense first to market with 45-inch 4K UHD TV

After extensive market research, Hisense, with UK headquarters based in Leeds, has acted on perceived consumer demand for a 45-inch TV to fill the gap between the traditional 40-inch and 50-inch screen sizes. The company says its research found that many consumers said that 40-inch TVs are too small to fully appreciate the 4K resolution, while 50-inch sets are often too large for many homes and can dominate their space.

The 45N5750 is equipped with HDR10 technology, enhancing the 4K UHD resolution, a Quad Core processor, easy connection by WiFi or ethernet, and smart features including a full web browser, Netflix, Amazon Prime, You Tube and BBC iPlayer. Anyview Cast and Anyview Stream compatibility allows consumers to share content between their phones, tablets and computer seamlessly.

Hisense UK’s deputy managing director, Howard Grindrod, said: “We’re delighted to offer this market-first product….. Over the next 18 months we are looking to extend our portfolio of products on offer considerably and this latest innovation is just one of the first developments as we aim to become a market leader.”

Hisense is an Official Sponsor of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia.
