Miele introduces new built-in wine conditioners
German appliance manufacturer Miele has introduced two built-in wine conditioning units, both with tinted glass doors to prevent damage from UV rays, an Active AirClean filter to protect wines from unpleasant odours that may impair their quality, and a slight gradient on shelves to ensure constant contact between the cork and wine to keep the cork in good condition.
The new KWT6722iGS (pictured) and KWT6422iGS and are suitable for 178cm and 88cm cabinetry recesses respectively. Both benefit from a FlexiFrame system, allowing users to adjust the beech wood racks to suit different types and sizes of bottles.
The smaller KWT6422iGS holds up to 33 bottles and the larger KWT6722iGS has a capacity of up to 83 bottles plus a SommelierSet comprising a glass holder and two decanting racks.
The appliances also benefit from two independently controlled temperature zones and Miele’s one-degree temperature accuracy.
