Roberts Radio’s Leslie Burrage to retire

Roberts Radio Chairman Leslie Burrage is to retire on 31st March 2016 after 23 years with the Glen Dimplex-owned business.

Burrage has spent 58 years in the consumer electronics industry. His career at Roberts Radio commenced when Glen Dimplex acquired the business in 1994 and, during his time at the company, he oversaw a number of key launches including the first portable DAB Radio, Sound Systems and Internet Radio.

“I wish Leslie every success in his retirement,” said Fergal Naughton, Glen Dimplex Chief Executive Officer. “I’d like to thank him for his commitment and the significant contribution he has made to Roberts Radio and Glen Dimplex.”

Burrage will take on the role of Advisor to the CEO to facilitate a smooth handover.
