Sharp Home Appliances to Exhibit at IFA 2016
Sharp Home Appliances has announced it will be building on its “For Life” brand proposition at this year’s IFA in Berlin, with “Technology-enriched life” its overarching theme for the show.
The brand will occupy a 770 sq m stand (No. 108) in Hall 9, showcasing how its home innovation can impact and enhance many aspects of life. The exhibit is underpinned by six display themes conveying Sharp’s ongoing commitment to delivering help that can overcome the challenges in everyday kitchen routines.
Innovative Tech Zone
This futuristic zone will feature a 14 place-setting dishwasher and an 8kg washing machine which, according to Sharp, will both offer unrivalled efficiency and speed, and innovative new technologies that can provide more support for households. Also on display will be the 4LifeHub, a “groundbreaking” WiFi-enabled French-door fridge freezer with an extra-large 21” LED display. The American-style model is designed as an eye-catching kitchen centrepiece around which domestic life can revolve and improve.
Healthy Living Zone
Stepping up its “support for life”, Sharp will unveil a whole new series of products for healthier lifestyles, showcasing the role of laundry and cooling appliances in safeguarding against the most common infections.
Here Sharp will show laundry, dishwashing, cooling and cooking appliances designed with exceptionally low sound levels for a more peaceful home environment.
Demonstrating how style and convenience-driven technology can now be seamlessly integrated into the kitchen, the brand is set to unveil a “dynamic” built-in range, premiering urban-style ovens and chic induction hobs that can offer benefits such as cooking shortcuts and self-cleaning functions.
Next Gen Smart Zone
The Next Gen Smart Zone will house Sharp’s vision for the future, with a range of WiFi-enabled products that will launch by the end of the year.
The Awards Zone will highlight many of the brand‘s award-winning products in several categories. The variety of accolades will include IF, Red Dot and Plus X Awards.
Head of Sales and Marketing for Europe Alberico Lissoni said: “IFA 2015 was our introduction to Europe – a declaration of our intent. IFA 2016 will be the springboard for our major entry into both the built-in and freestanding sectors.
“Visitors to this year’s show will be the first to see our expansive range of trendsetting home appliances, all of which have been inspired by our conversations and engagement with retailers as well as by our independent market research.
“Retailers will also find out how our For Life proposition promises to deliver much greater support for partners, especially during the after-sales period.
“We have already fulfilled our pledge to prepare 24/7 customer care via Twitter and LiveChat, a next-day engineer service and a fix or replace product guarantee if repairs cannot be made within 48 hours of any issue being reported.
“At IFA, we will demonstrate the next step in our For Life brand vision, sharing our future plans to build an after-sales service into the products themselves.”
