Sharp Home Appliances to exhibit at LivingKitchen 2017

Sharp Home Appliances is to exhibit for the first time at LivingKitchen, the international show which takes place in Cologne from 16 to 22 January 2017.

The brand will show the next generation of smart technology with its line-up offering a complete home support system, providing assistance for mealtime preparation through to dishwashing, laundry and the maintenance of products.

Cooking

In cooking, visitors will see professional-style accessories such as turnspits and digital meat probes, and a selection of ovens equipped with a virtual stand-in chef service that provides access to recipes and allows users to skip most of the programming work.

Providing generous net capacities of 78 litres, the new ovens will come equipped with design and technical features including illustrated LCD displays that can be accessed and controlled remotely, steam-assisted programmes for baking, and efficient self-cleaning oven cycles.

Cooling

The refrigeration range on display will incorporate Sharp’s five-door cooling design. The French-door model uses sensor detection to make its “invisible”  water dispenser appear on the fridge door and features a cooling compartment that can be customised to suit the changing requirements of individual households. Its minimalist design breaks away from the uniform fridge freezer look, offering instead a two-colour asymmetrical finish.

Sharp will also introduce a new series of combi models with a SpaceSaver door design that can save up to 7cm of space, opening and closing without impacting upon neighbouring cabinetry.

Dishwashing and Laundry

Also on display will be a fourteen place-setting dishwasher that can keep electricity running costs down to around €3.50 per month and an 8Kg washing machine that can reduce electricity costs to as little as €1.17 a month. The running costs for both appliances have been verified by the Energy Saving Trust.

At the mid end of the market, Sharp will unveil freestanding dishwashers offering the power of an additional spray arm, protective wine-glass baskets and discrete control panels within black glass door finishes.

The built-in dishwasher showcase brings the launch of models that can offer new features such as minimalist iLED displays that sit at the top of the door and provide user-friendly operation, emitting a white glow to indicate when the appliance is in operation.

In washing machines, new features such as aqua blue anti-bacterial linings for detergent drawers, mixers and drum gaskets will be introduced.

Smart Home

Sharp‘s next-generation smart appliances will also be on display. The range provides users with the freedom to remotely access cooking, cooling, dishwashing and laundry features which can help pre-empt and deal with potential problems, from anywhere and at any time.

Sharp Home Appliances will be exhibing in Hall 4.1, Stand A021.
