Vitamix announces new trade marketing support
Blender manufacturer Vitamix is upping its support for retailers with new marketing activities throughout 2016.
These will include eye-catching shop-in-shop systems, extensive visual merchandising material and window design concepts.
Seasonal hooks will also provide a ‘topic and consumer’ oriented presentation to facilitate new brand perspectives, and Vitamix trade partners can benefit from additional merchandising material such as brand brochures.
Vitamix announced its new marketing plans at the Ambiente trade fair in Frankfurt, where it is demonstrating the high performance, versatility and durability of its blenders.
“With nearly 100 years’ experience in creating consumer products that allow more whole food consumption, the Vitamix brand is the ideal trading partner for those looking to expand or implement a new product range,” the company said.
The blender market continues to experience high growth, with ‘blend & go’ type models seeing sales rise by 151% throughout 2015. According to GfK, 68% of consumers are choosing this type of product over traditional blenders.
“Vitamix supports the growth potential for specialised retailers with differentiated and innovative product and marketing concepts,” said Sabine Weiss, sales director of Vita-Mix GmbH in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
“With our customised marketing and PR activities we enable retail partners to win-over customers for the broad Vitamix product portfolio, and by experiencing the vast application possibilities increase long-term brand loyalty.”
