10kg model leads Hotpoint ActiveCare washer range

Hotpoint’s latest range of ActiveCare washing machines is led by this 10kg model (NM11 1045 WC AUK) which promises the removal more than 100 stains at just 20ᵒC. ActiveCare works by combining three elements: Active Mouse, which pre-mixes the water and detergent to create a mousse that penetrates fibres more quickly; Active Drum, which is driven by a brushless inverter motor that creates 10 different drum motions during the wash cycle, each one specifically designed to treat a variety of stains; and Active Load, which automatically sets each wash parameter to ensure the minimal amount of resources are used.

Additional features include:

  • Steam Hygiene injects steam into the drum at the end of the wash cycle, removing up to 99.9% of the most common bacteria
  • Steam Refresh penetrates fabrics deeply to freshen items in just 20 minutes
  • Stop&Add allows the user to add laundry to the wash during the first few minutes of the cycle
  • Rapid/Eco enables customisation of the wash programme to either speed up the cycle or save energy, depending on individual needs. The Rapid option reduces the wash duration by up to 50%; the Eco option reduces the energy consumption by up to 20%
  • Woolmark programme cares for woollens
  • Anti-Allergy programme (Awarded the Allergy-UK Seal of Approval)
  • Final Care keeps laundry fresh for up to six hours after the cycle has finished
  • Further wash programmes include synthetics, rapid 30′, delicates, rinse + spin, spin + drain, steam refresh, bed & bath, cotton, eco cotton, shirts, white and mix
  • Large display with touch-button user interface
  • Large easy-access door trimmed with stainless steel
  • A+++ (-20%) energy rating
  • Variable spin speed – maximum 1400 rpm
  • Wash noise level 56 dB(A), spin noise level 76 dB(A)
