Advanced Vario downdraft ventilation 400 series from Gaggenau

Gaggenau’s Vario downdraft ventilation 400 series works with the brand’s Vario cooktops from the same series and is controlled using Gaggenau’s professional-style front mounted stainless steel knobs, which align with the control knobs of cooktops in the series. The appliance is finished in stainless steel and can be installed either flush or surface mounted. For seamless integration, the downdraft ventilation can be fitted in combination with frameless induction cooktops, or those which feature a frame, including the electric grill, Teppan Yaki, gas cooktop, gas wok or induction, to provide performance cooking with large cookware up to 32cm in width.

Features of the Vario downdraft ventilation 400 series:
  • Effectively draws steam, odour and vapour down direct from the source
  • Optimised design of inner frame, dual V-shaped filter, high performing fans and increased width of 15cm create a powerful air extractor with a high vapour catch rate, even when used on low power setting
  • Intuitive automatic function allows appliance to self-regulate power settings during the cooking process
  • Removes the need to monitor the air quality, while operating as silently as possible
  • Sensitive hyper-reactive air quality sensor detects odour, reacts to vapour and quietly extracts both from the room using the lowest power level necessary
  • Easily removeable dual grease filter leaves no residue in the anodised aluminium housing – construction provides the smoothest surface for cleaning
  • Design of the dishwasher-safe grease filter cartridge ensures it remains upright when placed on the worktop, giving user less contact with grease and soiled surfaces
  • Equipped with Home Connect app for user control via devices
