AEG headlines The Big Feastival

AEG has announced its headline sponsorship of ‘Jamie Oliver and Alex James present The Big Feastival’, a weekend food and music lovers’ festival running from 29th-31st August at Alex James’ Cotswolds Farm.

This year the event boasts its best line-up yet of chefs and music and a jam-packed programme of family entertainment, showcasing music from chart-topping acts such as Fatboy Slim and Jamie Cullum and plenty of children’s entertainment.

AEG will be present throughout the festival offering a variety of features for all ages, with a particular emphasis on steam cooking and healthy, flavoursome food.

The AEG Big Kitchen will showcase the talents of some of the UK’s best chefs including Jamie Oliver, Gennaro Contaldo, Monica Galetti, Nathan Outlaw, Gizzie Irskine, Ashley Palmer-Watts using AEG appliances on the main stage during cooking demonstrations.

Organic cookery school and farm Daylesford Organics will partner with AEG to run the AEG Cooking Club, which will hold induction and steam classes for parents and children aged 8 years+, cooking healthy and convenient seasonal family suppers.

The AEG Family Kitchen, in the AEG mobile academy, will host family food-pairing cookery classes for parents and children of 8 years+, using the latest AEG induction hobs.

The AEG Family Kitchen Garden is for younger children and accompanying parents. Daylesford vegetable & fruit boxes will be available on benches in the garden area, where families can create their own food-pairing recipes together by following a simple AEG family food-pairing guide.

Vanessa Holloway, Consumer Marketing Manager at AEG, said: “The Big Feastival gives us the perfect opportunity to showcase AEG’s cutting-edge cooking technology, in particular steam cooking and induction. Through demonstrations as well as hands-on and taste experiences we aim to open up the world of possibilities in steam and induction cooking, allowing serious cooks to take their cooking to the next level and achieve outstanding results.”
