AGA Rangemaster to re-open factories

AGA Rangemaster has announced it will re-open its manufacturing facilities in Leamington Spa, Long Eaton and Telford from Monday 1st June.

While the company remained open for business during the lockdown and continued to fulfil orders, with warehouses fully stocked, “June 1st,” it said, “will be a major step forward and allow the business to start returning to a sense of normality.”

The process of resuming production on a small scale at the sites has begun and increased measures have been put in place through the undertaking of in-depth risk assessments across all areas of the business to protect the health and wellbeing of employees, customers and suppliers.

A statement released by the company today said: “AGA Rangemaster continues to put the health and wellbeing of all employees at the forefront of every decision-making process, while monitoring the advice from the Government and WHO guidelines on an ongoing basis.”
