AO adds to team for housebuilders’ sector

Online electrical retailer AO is to add three new employees to its team in the housebuilders’ sector after securing over 12,000 building plots since it entered the competitive market six months ago.

The company, which entered the market “to transform the way housebuilders purchase appliances for new developments”, said it offers “a unique proposition for time-pressed housebuilders”.

The new recruits will join the established team on 1st April to strengthen and build on the success.

Anthony Sant, MD of the firm’s business to business division, AO Business, said: “The widely accepted status quo in the industry is that housebuilders accept having to order appliances weeks in advance and having to pay for failed delivery feed when unpredicted delays occur, but it doesn’t need to be this way.

“With two experienced team members already in post and three more joining soon, we are well-positioned here at AO to provide a solution to the everyday challenges that housebuilders face. Businesses are already welcoming the AO approach in this sector as we bring our convenience, reliability and gold standard service to new customers.”
