Aquavision introduces Horizon outdoor televisions

TV manufacturer Aquavision has launched a range of outdoor models which it claims will withstand “nearly all” extreme weather conditions.

The waterproof Horizon televisions are based on the established Nexus+ and Elite 4K range, and are available in 32”, 42”, 55”, 65” and 85” formats.  The anti-reflective LED screens provide high-quality pictures and brightness to ensure optimum viewing in the brightest sunshine.

The VESA mount TVs have features such as IP control, DVB-T2/S2 receivers and two HDMI and USB inputs. RS232, IP and discrete IR control are standard and IP65 rating ensures the sets are fully protected against water, dust, sand, moisture and insects.

They are also fully compatible with all leading control systems and will handle temperatures of -40° to 110°C.

Alastair Benn, managing director at Aquavision, commented: “We’ve been developing this outdoor range for a while and are really excited about the Horizon.  It combines much of the technology from our top-of-the-range in-wall sets with the added benefits of the ultra-high brightness levels of 350-2500cd/m2.”

All Aquavision televisions are manufactured in the company’s British factory and carry a 2-year in-home UK warranty as standard.
