Aura Air launches in the UK

Startup business Aura Air, which claims “the world smartest and most compact professional air purification and monitoring system”, is launching in the UK on 1st February this year.

Aura Air combines the benefits of an Air Filter, a Carbon Monoxide and Fire/Smoke detector and is controlled by an app that compares real-time Indoor conditions against outdoor air pollution by integrating with the BreezoMeter air quality app.

It measures 37.5 x 37.5 x 15cm and is designed to be wall mounted and powered by a standard mains plug. Each unit will purify a 120 cubic metre room.

Aura Air has two patented technologies: a special copper inlay and a Sterioniser, specifically targeted at significantly reducing mould, bacteria, viruses fungus and MRSA. In addition, a HEPA filter reduces CO2 and removes both fine and large pollution & pollen particulates (PM2.5 & PM10) as well as Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) and Odours via an integrated Carbon Filter.

It is targeted specifically at Children’s Bedrooms, Schools, Hospitals, Doctor’s Surgeries, Cancer Care Wards, blocks of Flats and Care Homes, as the app can monitor multiple units at once.

The Aura app can be personalised to provide specific warnings for pregnant women, children, the elderly, asthma sufferers and those with other allergies and heart conditions.  It can detect high levels of dust, as well as pollen from different trees and grasses.  It also compares indoor conditions vs outdoors and warns when it is not recommended to go outdoors.
