Beko plc marks 30 years in the UK

Beko is marking its 30th year in the UK with the launch of a new corporate website and newly created Beko plc LinkedIn page.

The website is designed to be eye-catching and easy to navigate and is the face of all Beko plc brands, which comprise Beko itself – the UK’s number 1 bestselling large home appliance brand – Grundig, Leisure, Blomberg, Flavel and Zenith.

The site showcases “standout” work in sustainability, research and development, CSR and technology from the teams and colleagues at Beko plc and its parent company Arçelik A.Ş., the second largest company in the home appliances industry in Europe.

Users can also access the latest news, including a Gender Pay Gap report and award wins across all brands.

Beko added that it has most recently gone the extra mile during the coronavirus crisis and given back to communities with its #BekoGiving initiative. The brand donated in excess of 1,600 appliances to over 50 NHS hospitals, ambulance stations, care homes and charities spanning the breadth of the country.

Teresa Arbuckle, Managing Director at Beko plc UK & Ireland, said: “We set out to create an online presence that highlights Beko plc as a wider business beyond our brand stories. As a company and employer, there are so many initiatives that the business and team has achieved, and the new website will be a great place to bring those stories to life.

“Whilst this is a corporate website, we know that consumers are increasingly more considerate of the brands that they buy, and retailers want to be knowledgeable about the brands that they sell.

“We encourage all retailers to visit the new site and to follow us on our LinkedIn page to keep up to date with all the latest news across all of our brands.”
