Blomberg and Euronics honour local hero

In celebration of its 10th anniversary in the UK, Blomberg, the exclusive brand for Euronics agents, launched a window display competition encouraging customers “to recognise the selfless work of local heroes and to nominate their local hero to win an impressive prize of £2,500 worth of Blomberg appliances.”

From the many entries received. Blomberg and Euronics awarded the prize to Sarah, “a courageous NHS worker who has been working extremely hard during the pandemic. Despite health problems of her own, Sarah dedicated herself to preventing the spread of COVID-19, going above and beyond to provide essential services during a time of crisis.”

Beko plc channel manager for independents Steve Naylor said: “During these uncertain times, it was great to see Blomberg and Euronics coming together to celebrate our 10-year partnership with this local hero competition. A huge thank you goes out to all the local heroes that were nominated and to Sarah for the incredible work she has done”

Robert Blair, Head of Marketing and eCommerce at Euronics commented: “Our 10-year partnership with Blomberg was a milestone we wanted to celebrate in style. To do so, we felt that celebrating a local hero in such a difficult year was a great way to say thank you to the communities and individuals up and down the country. Euronics is all about local service and expertise, and we’re grateful to Marks Electricals for providing and delivering the £2,500 prize to Sarah, our worthy winner”.
