Bowers & Wilkins names Chief Executive Officer

British audio brand Bowers & Wilkins has announced the appointment of Gregory Lee as Chief Executive Officer. He will also serve on the company’s Board of Directors.

Lee (pictured above) has previously worked with firms such as Procter & Gamble and Johnson & Johnson, but his more recent experience is rooted in the consumer electronics industry, with North American and global leadership positions including President & CEO of Samsung Electronics North America and Global Chief Marketing Officer of Samsung Electronics.

“I am honored and excited to join the leadership team at Bowers & Wilkins, a brand that is known for its rich history of quality, design and technology innovations,” Lee commented.

“I’m looking forward to partnering with our dedicated audio customer base to assert Bowers & Wilkins’ continued commitment to performance audio technology.

“The audio/video category is growing rapidly within the broader consumer electronics industry. Bowers & Wilkins is well positioned to capture that growth by extending the reach of the brand with consumers in today’s global marketplace.”

“Greg has extensive experience building world-class brands through strategic sales and marketing initiatives in the global consumer electronics industry, and he brings an impressive professional breadth to our company,” said Bowers & Wilkins Co-Executive Chairman Dave Liu.

“This deep and highly relevant experience makes Greg a fantastic choice to lead the next chapter of Bowers & Wilkins.”
