BSH appoints new Regional Service Managers

BSH Home Appliances has appointed two new Regional Service Managers to accommodate growing sales and the subsequent expansion of its service organisation.

BSH upped its field service engineering teams supporting the Bosch, Neff, Siemens and Gaggenau brands from 12 to 14 in spring this year. Alan Walls (pictured left) and Andy Kent (right), both of whom have been promoted internally from Area Service Manager positions, take on the role of Regional Service Managers to support this expansion.

Kent is responsible for the South and Walls for the North. Each RSM will manage seven Area Service Managers.

“By managing a smaller number of teams we will be closer to the issues which affect our regions,” said Kent. “Some challenges in Field Service are localised, so we will be able to solve these in more detail for better results.”

Kent will also cover the team of engineers dedicated to the Gaggenau brand.
