Candy reveals new laundry models

Candy has launched a washing machine offering what it claims is the world’s most eco-friendly A-class programme.

The Rapid’Ó was developed using feedback from the Candy Simply-Fi app, which revealed that 65% of customers were using quick washes.

The model offers nine quick wash programmes, from 14 to 60 minutes, a wide door sited close to the top of the machine and a Smart Console, allowing users to easily manage programmes and the loading and unloading of laundry items.

A Snap&Wash function, where users take a photo of the load in front of the appliance on the Candy Simply-Fi app, recommends the best and fastest programme.

The A+++ Rapid’Ó, available in 9kg and 10kg capacities, can be voice-controlled – with the help of Google Home and Amazon Alexa digital butlers – or remotely via the Candy simply-Fi App, which offers a wide range of extra functions.

The appliance is launched alongside a number of other new products with WiFi and NFC technology offering control through smartphone, tablet, Amazon Alexa and Google Home.

These are available in white, black and graphite in 9kg and 10kg capacities.
