Candy’s “smart” marketing campaign launches today
Domestic appliance brand Candy has launched a five-figure marketing campaign to show how its smart appliances can help consumers simplify their daily lives.
Candy’s smart oven collection and Rapid’Ó washing machines are the focus of the campaign, as the products offer a variety of smart capabilities which can save time, enhance performance and provide plenty of solutions for cooking and cleaning via the brand’s Simply-Fi app.
Candy smart oven: The app gives access to over 250 recipes while allowing users to control the cooking process on their phone.
Rapid’Ó washing machine: Consumers can control and monitor their washing remotely while also having access to maintenance advice and programmes.
The campaign, which goes live today (15th March), starts with sponsored content. Activity will also include tailored material on Facebook and Instagram and digital advertising content supported with influencer activity aimed to drive home the high level of performance consumers can expect from Candy’s smart products.
Nick Platt, business director, built-in appliances at Candy, said: “We’re extremely passionate about our smart products and the smart approach they can provide to cooking and cleaning. As such, it was important we delivered a large-scale marketing campaign to create a buzz around these products and their features.
“Our Simply-Fi app is at the forefront of these features, which we believe will be popular with customers thanks to its ability to provide a number of programmes, recipes and advice to help them save time on their chores.
“Showcasing these models across a variety of platforms will target a number of demographics, who can benefit from the simplicity our Timeless ovens and Rapid’Ó washing machines can offer.”
The campaign will run until May 2021.
