Caple brings new hob to market

Appliance specialist Caple has produced a new gas hob, the C772G, featuring a five-burner design, scratch resistant black enamel tray with stainless-steel surround, flame safety device with auto restart andauto electronic ignition.LPG jets are included.

This model can be flush-mounted or inset and it features cast iron pan supports. A variety of cooking methods can be accommodated with one 4kW dual fuel ring burner, one 3kW rapid burner, two 1.75kW semi-rapid burners and one 1kWsimmer burner.

Product manager Luke Shipway said: “Gas hobs are all about precision cooking, which is why we have designed this hob to feature our signature DirectHeat+. This innovative cooking technology produces a 45° inclined flame, which means the heat is sent upwards directly towards the base of the pan. So, more heat hits the base of the pan rather than escaping round the sides. DirectHeat+ will therefore decrease boiling time and will bring food up to temperature more quickly and efficiently.”

The C772G measures 746mmL by 508mmW by 70mmH and costs from around £644 including VAT.
