Caple’s Vela cooker hood offers “revolutionary” air cleaning method (Updated)

Caple’s new Vela hood with Halo LED light and Plasma technology is available in three on-trend finishes. Copper and gold reflect the trend for metallics in the home, while matt black is rising in demand for state-of-the-art kitchen furniture, sinks, taps and appliances.

According to Caple, the Plasma method of cleaning the air is “revolutionary”. The motor on the Vela hood draws air through ducting towards the Plasma filter where it is purified and cleaned, eradicating 95% of odours. A carbon filter then catches any remaining odours, which extends the life of the charcoal filter from six months to five years.

The appliance has a choice of three operational speeds.

An adjustable height (at a minimum of 590cm from the ceiling) allows for both standard and tall ceilings, making the Vela island hood a versatile option when it comes to installation.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to unforeseen circumstances, Caple’s Vela hoods will launch with charcoal filters only and we hope to introduce Plasma filtration in the future.
