Compact larder fridge from Amica

Amica’s new 55cm FC2093 larder fridge is 123.5cm high with 204 litres of storage space. It has four shelves, a salad crisper, four spacious door balconies and an A+ energy rating.

Amica Marketing Manager Steve Corbett said the appliance is “the ideal choice” for consumers that buy lots of fresh food or those looking for “spill-over” space.

“The recent rise in energy costs has made consumers more aware of the need to reduce electricity consumption – and replacing an old fridge is one of the best ways to save,” he added.

“Fridges and freezers are running 24 hours a day and many older kitchen appliances are likely to use many times more energy over life than was used to manufacture them. Typically, an A+ rated fridge freezer bought now is over 49% cheaper to run than one bought in 1991 because it uses much less energy. “
