De Dietrich promotes French Patisserie feature

De Dietrich is promoting the French Patisserie Mode, a patented technology that automatically sets and monitors the key parameters – such as temperature, humidity and cooking time – to achieve optimum results across 14 recipes for French patisserie items, widely regarded as a particularly challenging element of culinary art.

The recipes include items such as chocolate fondant, crème brule and macaroons, and De Dietrich says all the user has to do is select the appropriate recipe, place the items at the correct height as recommended by the oven. All settings are adjusted automatically and a humidity sensor constantly analyses in-cavity humidity to ensure perfect adjustment of temperature and cooking time.

The French Patisserie Mode feature is available on De Dietrich’s Red Dot Award winning oven collection, in Absolute Black, Platinum, Pure White and Iron Grey.

Michelin Star Chef Kevin Thornton will be hosting a series of cooking demonstrations at the KAL Advisory Centre in Citywest, Co. Dublin over the next few months to showcase the range of De Dietrich ovens and their functionality.
