De’Longhi signs Brad Pitt as brand ambassador

De’Longhi has appointed American actor Brad Pitt as its new global ambassador and star of its latest Perfetto advertisement.

The award-winning film and screen heartthrob is seen in the ad enjoying his own “perfetto moment”, drinking a freshly ground cappuccino from the De’Longhi Dinamica Plus bean-to-cup coffee machine, having sourced the beans from an independent coffee store in the sun-soaked hills of LA.

As part of the Perfetto campaign, De’Longhi commissioned a survey of 2,000 adults which found that “perfection really is at the heart of every individual’s beverage” and a quarter of the nation makes the first brew of the day themselves because they don’t believe anyone else can get it right.

Currently, only one in five survey respondents use a bean-to-cup coffee machine like the one used by Brad Pitt in the ad, but De’Longhi’s Marketing Director Alex Pickering says using this type of machine “changes the experience entirely”.

He commented: “Every person’s coffee experience is different and clearly perfection is the standard, and whilst for some it may be about consuming caffeine in the fastest way possible, making a bean-to-cup coffee your way is the best way to get that perfetto moment, every single time.”
