Dimplex launches national TV ad campaign

Dimplex is to launch its first ever national TV advertising campaign, with an eye-catching ad putting fires at the forefront of family life and showing a selection of the brand’s Opti-Myst fires to demonstrate the breadth of the range.

The ad will be aired nationwide on ITV3 and on selected regions of ITV1 during October and November to coincide with the autumn launch of more than a dozen new product designs.

Chris Stammers, marketing director at Dimplex, said: “This is a significant investment for Dimplex and for the electric fires sector as a whole and one which we are confident will help drive sales for our valued retailers.

“By focusing on our Opti-Myst flame effect, which is the world’s first truly 3D electric flame effect, we have been able to convey the realism and simplicity of modern electric fires, not to mention the breadth of the Dimplex range.

“We invested a lot of time to make sure the campaign has the biggest possible impact on home owners, from the creative of the advert itself to the channels on which it will air.”

The ad concludes with a freephone telephone number and web address, with all enquiries being driven to the Dimplex website where consumers can find details of their local retailers and the fires on display.
