Electrolux claims “world firsts” among new laundry ranges

Electrolux Group has launched a new range of built-in washing machines and washer/dryers across the three brands Electrolux, AEG and Zanussi. The new collection, says Electrolux, “builds on the existing ground-breaking technology Electrolux are renowned for, by improving the endurance of the machines and increasing washing capacity by up to 8kg in both the washing machines and washer/dryers.

The increased durability of the washers and washer/dryers, adds Electrolux, “is due to the powerful inverter motor on all washer/dryers and on the 8kg washing machines. This inverter motor also ensures that the machines produce far less noise then competitor brands.”

The new range, first to market with steam in built-in laundry appliances according to Electrolux, has A+++ ratings for washing machines and A ratings for washer/dryers.

Emma Hote, Junior Product Manager at Electrolux Major Appliances, said: “We’ve developed an exciting new range of washing machines and washer/dryers across our three brands that build on the existing technologies that we already have out in the market. With innovative functions and features such as ProSteam® (AEG) and SteamCare® (Electrolux), we make it easier for the consumer by saving them time and ensuring that their delicate garments are well cared for. Our wool programme in the AEG and Electrolux series has been certified by Woolmark as being as gentle as washing by hand, which is great news for the consumer.”

The new built-in washing machines and washer/dryers will be available “from all major retailers,” with RR starting from £479 – £799.
