Exertis appoints programme director

Distributor of technology products Exertis has announced the appointment of Howard Ingleby to the newly created position of programme director for the UK and Ireland.

He will be responsible for managing change and delivery of key strategic and infrastructure projects as the business continues along its transformation path.

Ingleby has worked in a variety of industry sectors, from insurance and engineering to plant hire, construction and management consultants, in change management and business transformation roles.

He will report to Richard Hinds, Exertis chief operating officer.

“I am delighted to be joining such a successful and rapidly expanding company with the opportunity to build a Programme Office and approach from the ground up,” Ingleby commented.

“Given the high volume of projects on the go, it can be a challenge to manage, control, deliver change and realise the benefits without a co-ordinated and structured change management process and governance regime.

“Together with the existing Exertis teams working on delivering change, I’m confident that we can collectively build an approach that will be rapid, flexible and capable of delivering sustainable change that supports continued growth and adds profitability to the business.”
