Glen Dimplex appoints two new members to Supervisory Board
Glen Dimplex has appointed two highly experienced French businesswomen to its Supervisory Board, which oversees the Glen Dimplex Group on behalf of its shareholders.
The two women have broad international experience in retail and consumer knowledge and are based in Paris.
Glen Dimplex founder and Chairman of the Supervisory Board Martin Naughton said the distinguished businesswomen – Cecile Helme-Guizon and Sophie le Tanneur – bring great diversity of perspective to the Board.
“The wealth of industry knowledge and experience of the members of the Supervisory Board help to protect the best interests of our Group, providing advice and ensuring sound governance.”
Ms Helme-Guizon (pictured left) spent ten years in Audit and Transaction Services at PwC (Paris and New York), and has had a successful international career in a number of retail sectors including electrical, DIY, furniture, health & beauty and general merchandise. She held executive positions with Kingfisher and Darty, and over the past four years has served as Non-Executive Director on the board of three large listed businesses (Manitou, Antalis and Sequana). She spent two years as CEO of the French IFA (Institute of Directors).
Ms le Tanneur (right) has 20 years of international management experience in top tier FMCG companies Colgate and L’Oréal. She managed multiple brand portfolios and distribution channels including e-commerce, direct retail, wholesale, specialised distribution and professional, and gained considerable experience in restructuring businesses and supply chains. In 2011 she founded an advisory firm specialising in change and innovation management for consumer-driven businesses and retailers. Over the past 10 years she has served as Non-Executive Director in three different companies.
