Gorenje extends production shutdown in Europe

Slovenian Appliance manufacturer Gorenje has extended the shutdown of all its European factories until 10th April 2020.

Production at the Velenje plants will resume on Tuesday 14th April, except for the Laundry production, which will restart on Friday 10th April.

The Mora plant in the Czech Republic will also start work on Tuesday 14th. The factory in Valjevo, Serbia, will commence operation on Monday 13th, the Hisense-owned manufacturer said.

Gorenje announced the initial shutdown on 20th March and had planned to resume production on 6th April.
