Grundig brand ambassador wins World’s No.1 Restaurant accolade

Osteria Francescana, the Modena-based restaurant run by three-Michelin-stars chef/patron Massimo Bottura (pictured), has been named the world’s no.1 restaurant at the World’s 50 Best Restaurants Awards this week.

Bottura is official brand ambassador for the Grundig domestic appliances brand, which launched in the UK in 2013 and is owned by Arcelik, owner of the Beko brand. In his new role as official ambassador, said Grundig, he will “work closely with the company” and “will be putting his knowledge of food and the arts to use, collaborating with Grundig to design a range of home appliances.”

Beko plc marketing director Donald Shepherd said; “Our team of engineers are looking forward to working closely with Massimo to develop high quality and innovative products.”

Bottura added: “I’m looking forward to working side-by-side with Grundig on new ideas to develop projects and products that are able to really make a difference and find solutions to make our homes and our world a better place.”

This summer, Grundig is launching a new collection that includes several integrated cooking appliances and a number of laundry and dishwasher products.
