Haier introduces ‘gift with purchase’ Boxxfresh promotion

Haier has partnered with Boxxfresh, the zero-waste vegetable delivery service, to offer a gift with purchase on selected products in the brand’s Cube fridge freezer range.

“Keep It Fresh, Reduce Food Waste with Haier and Boxxfresh” will run from 14th June to the last week of July at selected retailers and gives customers total flexibility to choose the fresh vegetable, fruit, salad and herb items they want to receive.

The portion box also contains recipe cards on how to use the fresh products to create various dishes

Qualifying products in the Haier range are ranked into three tiers with the higher tier benefitting from up to three boxes worth £90.

“At Boxxfresh we have a Naked Veg Pledge,” said Kelly, a spokesperson for the business. “We provide fruit, vegetables, salads and herbs totally naked; that means without any pointless single use plastic.

“Fresh produce doesn’t need a plastic packet to keep it fresh which is why we always provide tried and proven tips and tricks to keep your delicious produce in the best fresh condition, helping us all to do our bit in reducing food waste at home.”

Haier’s Milo Cheney, product manager for refrigeration, said Boxxfresh’s commitment to deliver the “best, freshest seasonal fruit, veggies and plant-based groceries aligns totally with Haier’s guarantee of being able to store fresh food at home for longer”.

He added: “This product promotion is further commitment from Haier to extend our distribution partnership to premium brands and add value for customers in other ways.”
