Haier invites visitors to “Connect to Extraordinary” at Milan Design Week

Haier is to present its Smart Home concept at Milan Design Week 2021, providing visitors with an “immersive and premium-driven experience” based on Artificial Intelligence.

“Haier – Connect to Extraordinary” will be located in a 400 square metre space within Superstudio Più and will be open to the public from 4th to 10th September.

The visitor journey will see small groups each having the chance to experience a 15-minute simulation of a fully interconnected home complete with an ecosystem of household appliances and connected solutions to enhance and improve everyday life.

According to Haier, the simulation, which is designed by Bonsai Ninja, “will see visitors grappling with the need to prepare a dinner for friends entirely remotely due to an unforeseen event”.

“This,” the company says, “is where artificial intelligence and the unique features of Haier’s ecosystem solutions come into play, starting from the new kitchen built-in range, passing through the connected refrigerators and wine cellars with exclusive preservation functions, up to the innovative solutions for air conditioning and professional laundry results.”

Guided by hOn, the app created and developed by Haier to manage, control and enhance the functions of all the Group’s appliances, visitors will be taken on “a real interactive journey through the Haier ecosystem and amazing and experiential world of the smart home”.

“It’s an amazing journey to discover how the artificial intelligence of our appliances allows people to overcome limits that seemed insurmountable,” said Michele Bertacco, EMEAR Senior Brand Manager at Haier.
