Haier launches new Intelius Series washing machines
Haier has introduced two Intelius Series washing machines, HW80-BD14266 and HW80-BD14266A, onto the UK market, both of which offer a choice of 16 programmes and are driven by a Smart Drive Motor (SD Motor®). The appliances are A+++ -40% rated for energy efficiency and operate at 50dB(A) on wash cycles.
The beltless SD Motor®, which holds a 10-year warranty, is connected direct to the drum for a continuous, uninterrupted wash cycle with reduced vibration.
The Auto Weight function weighs garments in the drum before the start of a cycle and calculates the wash time and amount of water required. The washing machine’s LED display can be used to select a time for the washing to finish, up to 24 hours later.
Both models have 8kg capacities and a range of programmes: Cotton, Synthetic, Mix, Wool, Underwear, Sport, Jeans, Hygienic 95° C, Daily Wash, Ultra White, Express 15’, Baby Care, Delicate, Hand Wash, Spin/Drain and Self Clean.
Spin speed (up to 1400 RPM), temperature and rinses are manually adjustable via the LED display. The HW80-BD14266 also uses a Memo Function to store preferred wash settings.
The use of Haier Anti Bacterial Treatment (ABT®) in the gasket and detergent drawer eliminates a minimum 99.8% of bacteria at all temperatures. Smart Dual Spray® (HW80-BD14266) is automatically activated at the end of the cycle to remove all fibres blocked in the gasket.
An AquaStop device protects against leaks by stopping the flow of water into the machine, while the Aquaproof feature warns users of any possible water leaks.
