Haier reveals connected wine cellar range

Haier has introduced its first Mono Zone and Double Zone connected wine cellars, both of which use the new hOn App created to control and manage all Haier Europe appliances.

The brand has partnered with Vivino — the largest global wine marketplace with over 39 million active users — which allows hOn connectivity to give access to a series of functions, including the identification and cataloguing of wines via a label scan, user profiling to provide advice and suggestions of food pairings based on the tastes and wines available.

The Double Zone version will have additional features such as the ability to pair devices to control and manage the temperature of the two zones remotely, according to suggestions provided by hOn based on the type of wines present and a series of preset programmes depending on the type of wine to be stored.

Both the Mono Zone and Double Zone versions offer a humidity control system with natural airflow which keeps it within the 50-70% threshold, protection from external vibrations, 3D LED lights and anti-UV doors to ensure the correct level of lighting.

Pricing and availability to be confirmed Q4 2020.
