Head of customer service operations joins Hoover Candy Group

Hoover Candy Group has appointed Angela Wallace as head of customer service operations at its contact centre in Bolton.

She will lead the Group’s 120-strong workforce, which handles incoming enquiries for the Hoover, Candy and Baumatic brands, with a remit covering the customer service, spares, contracts, key accounts and training team.

Wallace, who will report to operations director Andy Lane, has almost three decades of experience, including leading customer service teams for British Gas, BskyB and Boohoo.

Commenting on her appointment, Wallace said: “My vision is to put my experience and passion into creating an outstanding customer experience through a switched-on workforce that will deliver incredible results for the business and to make Hoover Candy an industry leader in service.”
