HiFi Rose RS250 premium network streamer launches in the UK

Henley Audio has announced the UK availability of the HiFi Rose RS250 network streamer, the latest addition to the Korean digital audio specialist’s range of premium hi-fi sources.

The RS250 employs a high-performance DAC and linear power supply to get the best from digital music, and its wide LCD multi-touch screen “provides users with a new experience and no-compromise simplicity in operation.” The aluminium body and screen’s wide viewing angle are proportioned to ensure “a perfect fit in any home.”

Users can watch streamed videos on its screen as well as use its HDMI to output 4K video to a TV. This reference-grade network streamer, DAC and pre-amplifier may be listened to direct using the headphone out, or, with the addition of an amplifier, and stereo speakers.

Airplay, Roon Ready and Spotify Connect streaming included

Bespoke Rose OS apps give access to video services, podcasts, and radio playback

Bluetooth remote control included

Full-feature app available for iOS and Android devices

HDMI output for 4K video output to a connected TV (via TIDAL, Rose Tube or Video apps)

Integrated apps for Qobuz and TIDAL

Manually adjust output settings to suit the RS250 to user needs

MQA certified device (full decoding)

Playback or rip CDs from external optical drives, connected by USB (drive not included)

Space for built-in (SATA), Micro SD or USB storage devices

Special linear power supply configuration minimises electrical noise

Stream music from network or attached devices through the built-in Rose OS MUSIC app

Support for digital audio playback up-to 32-bit / 768KHz (PCM) and DSD512 (Native DSD)

Wi-Fi, ethernet and Bluetooth 4.0 (AD2DP SINK, AVRCP v1.3) connectivity

The HiFi Rose RS250 has an RRP of £1949.00.
