Hotpoint introduces dishwashers with “best ever” drying performance

Hotpoint is bringing its “best ever” drying performance and energy efficiency to a new range of dishwashers incorporating the brand’s ActiveDry system.

ActiveDry automatically opens the appliance door by up to 10cm at the end of the cycle so residual humidity exits safely and fresh air enters the cavity to speed up drying, providing up to 60% better drying results and reducing energy consumption by up to 20%.

The system is engineered to protect kitchen furniture from heat and humidity. The door only opens when the internal temperature cools to around 40°C, and the controlled 10cm opening angle has been designed to guide the release of humid air from inside the appliance to ensure moisture does not come into contact with the surrounding kitchen units. A protective foil is also provided to add extra shielding to the underside of the worktop.

This new range of full-size Hotpoint dishwashers also incorporates 3D Zone Wash technology, which efficiently removes stubborn, baked-on food and makes handwashing dishes unnecessary. Further benefits include Active Oxygen technology, which naturally dissolves unpleasant odours, a Glass Care cycle, and LED lights in the cavity for easier loading and unloading.

Users have the benefit of 10 programmes: Eco, Auto-intensive, Auto-mixed, Auto-fast wash, Delicates, Express 30’, Good night, Sanitising, Soak and Self clean, an A+++ energy rating and water usage of 9.5 litres on the Eco programme. Operational noise levels run at 41 dB(A).
