Hotpoint launches “fully flexible” 4-door fridge/freezer

Hotpoint has launched a new 4-door fridge freezer which claims to combine “impressive capacity, flexible storage solutions and innovative technologies that encourage long-lasting freshness of food.”

The Hotpoint 4-door Day-1 Active Quattro fridge/freezer (HQ9 E1L) has a capacity of 591 litres, and its flexible storage solutions include adjustable refrigerator door balconies and shelves, and removable freezer drawers and shelves, allowing easy customisation of the internal space to suit individual consumer’s needs.

The unit also claims innovative technologies “which ensure the best preservation for both fresh and frozen foods.” Features such as the Super Cool refrigeration and Super Freeze programmes “promote the best storage conditions and reduce avoidable food waste.”

The stainless steel finish with integrated handles creates a clean, linear look designed to suit an array of kitchen styles and designs.

The Day-1 Active Quattro also features electronic touch control, door ope alarm, low noise level (37.5dB(A), internal energy-efficient LED lighting and an A+ energy rating.

Jennifer Taylor, Head of Brand, Hotpoint, says: “Refrigeration appliances from Hotpoint are designed to enhance every dimension of the user’s relationship with food. With the right cooling appliance, which better preserves ingredients for maximum freshness, consumers are able to reduce avoidable food waste. The Hotpoint Day-1 Active Quattro fridge freezer (HQ9 E1L) benefits from a raft of innovations that help to promote food freshness and ensure efficient storage of ingredients.”
