Hotpoint takes ‘Fresh Thinking for Forgotten Food’ on the road

Hotpoint is touring the country with its Fresh Thinking Mobile Kitchen Roadshow following the launch of its ‘Fresh Thinking for Forgotten Food’ campaign – the aim of which is to help reduce and prevent food waste.

The roadshow will visit five of the UK’s busiest shopping centres, completing the tour Saturday 8th – Sunday 9th September at The Trafford Centre, Manchester.

It will promote Hotpoint’s Leftovers Recipe Challenge, which encourages consumers to enter a competition by submitting their favourite recipe using leftover food. Entrants will have the chance to win tickets to a Fresh Thinking Pop-Up Café event and will also have the opportunity to meet Hotpoint brand ambassador Jamie Oliver.

The winner of the Challenge will also receive a Hotpoint Day1 fridge freezer, which incorporates a number of technologies that keep food fresh for longer.

Jennifer Taylor, Head of Brand at Hotpoint, said: “The Fresh Thinking Mobile Kitchen is an exciting opportunity for visitors to learn useful hints and tips as well as discover delicious recipes that are easy to remember and use.

“The roadshow will be engaging and educational and we are thrilled to offer consumers a platform to share their leftovers-inspired recipes.”
