Hughes Electrical backs local agricultural show

Hughes Electrical is continuing its support for the annual Suffolk Show by providing a number of televisions which will be used to encourage people to visit locations across the show and to learn about various aspects of life in Suffolk.

The retailer will also have a stand in the Lifestyle Pavilion at the two-day event, which takes place at the end of May, and will supply a prize for its “Treasure Trail”.

Honorary Show Director Bee Kemball said: “We will have TVs at five locations on the showground forming our Treasure Trail. Each will cover a different aspect of what happens in the county: Farming Life, Technology, The Emergency Services, Pig Farming and West Suffolk College.”

The information running on a loop will also contain a clue to help people answer a question to win the “Treasure”.  Winners will be drawn at random to win a number of prizes, including a £500 iPad from Hughes.

Hughes’ Ashley Shorey-Mills said the show is a major event for the county and one everybody looks forward to.

“We have been working closely with the show’s team to understand their requirements and as a result are delighted to be installing televisions around the showground as well as providing a prize for the Treasure Trail,” he added.
