Hughes invests £50K in store refit

Hughes Electrical has invested £50,000 in a refit of its branch at 28 High Street, Hunstanton to improve its layout and display areas.

The refit enables a greater variety of products to be displayed while also giving customers a better shopping experience. A new area has been created to showcase built-in appliances, which have, according to the retailer, recently seen a “surge” in demand.

Store manager Mark Page, who has been in the electrical retail business in Hunstanton for over 40 years, said the work had been planned for some time and lockdown meant it could be carried out without inconveniencing customers.

Hughes managing director Mark Wardell said: “We remain committed to serving the local community of Hunstanton where we have operated for nearly 30 years. This investment shows our desire to remain part of its high street and play our role in its successful future.

“Mark and the team do an amazing job and it is only right we give them the best possible environment to demonstrate our ever-increasing range of products.

“Our 32 shops across seven counties in England remain a vital part of our business model and we will continue to invest in them.”
