Hughes Trade appoints business development consultant

Hughes Trade has engaged Rob Dixon as a business development consultant to assist its commercial arm in achieving its plans for growth.

Dixon (pictured right) has a breadth of experience in the industry, including 17 years at Miele Professional where he held a number of senior positions.

“I have known Hughes Trade for several years and watched it grow on the back of sound business practices and excellent customer service so am thrilled to be part of the team,” he commented.

“I will be passing on my industry knowledge to my new colleagues, as well as using it and my contacts, to help the business with its growth plans.”

“There are few people with as much experience in our industry, or who command as much respect as Rob,” said Hughes Trade general manager Paul Chisnall (left).

“Despite having only just joined us we are already seeing the benefits of his knowledge and looking forward to working with him in the future.”

Hughes Trade’s commercial arm covers the South East, Midlands and East Anglia from its branches in Rochester, Leicester and Norwich. It mainly supports the care, hospitality, tourism, educational and facilities management sectors.
