IFA 2018: Loewe creates “first ever” TV with integrated sound personalisation

German brand Loewe has announced a series of new updates to its TV collection, the most significant of which is the result of a partnership with Mimi Hearing Technologies to develop Mimi DefinedTM for the “first ever” TV with integrated sound personalisation.

This new audio technology will shortly be integrated with Loewe models to profile users and create sound personalised to the owner of that TV.

Loewe likens the concept to wearing glasses to correct a blurred image. With Mimi DefinedTM, TVs can adapt to individual hearing, so every detail can be heard and experienced with clearer, warmer and more balanced sound.

Mimi DefinedTM will reach all Loewe TV sets and connected devices via a software upgrade expected to be available before the end of the year.
