IFA 2018: Neato connected models personalise home cleaning

Robotic vacuum cleaner brand Neato has announced the new Botvac D4 Connected and Botvac D6 Connected, which join an enhanced version of the company’s flagship Botvac D7 Connected.

The Botvac D4 Connected features LaserSmart™ mapping and navigation, 33% more battery life than its predecessor and Quick Boost Charging, while the Botvac D6 Connected has a core brush up to 70% larger than most round robots, with an added ‘tough spot’ designed to kick up more dirt and hair. An ultra-performance filter makes this model ideal for households with pets.

Both robot vacuums also feature No-Go lines, so for homes with two or three levels a separate floor plan can be created for each.

The Botvac D7 Connected has also evolved, with the introduction of Zone Cleaning – a feature which provides the ability to target areas of the home that need more attention.

Neato CEO Matt Petersen commented: “At Neato, we believe in the notion of personalised cleaning. That every person, in every home, lives life in unique and distinctive ways. This is why we design products that adapt to them.

“Our new Botvac D4 and D6 Connected are proof of this belief. These are products which will grow with the customer through software updates, answering to their needs.”
